Well done to the 4th class boys who made it to the final of the indoor hurling blitz in Bishopstown yesterday. Greenmount NS topped their group and won their semi final to progress to the decider where they lost out narrowly to a strong Ovens NS side. Well done!

The One Book One Community Project was launched by the lord Mayor at the Lough today. Children from all the local primary schools gathered together to begin a fortnight of work on Michael Morpurgo’s “Mr. Nobody’s Eyes.” World Champion, Bernard Dunne popped along to encourage all our young people to keep up their love of reading.
We have been very busy since Christmas in 4th class . We celebrated World Book Day last week . We dressed up as various characters from our favourite books ! Sean O’ Callaghan won a prize for the best costume in our room .
Senior classes were treated to a golf workshop on Wednesday last. Great fun was had!
The Boys’ Football Team gave us a heart stopping match against Barney Street N.S. in Páirc Uí Chaoimh today. The boys returned home champions!
Ms. Linehan’s Class have been busy creating a Norman Motte and Bailey. They used recycled materials and their art supplies. Most importantly, they collaboratively worked in teams. Beautiful work.
