We continued our tradition of blowing out the candles on the children’s special days.
We had fun tasting,documenting and painting about vegetables
We had 2 birthdays in November.
We read the Owl Babies story.
We had fun at playtime.
The Boys’ Football Team gave us a heart stopping match against Barney Street N.S. in Páirc Uí Chaoimh today. The boys returned home champions!
Many thanks to Councillor Mick Finn who sponsored shorts and socks for the Boys’ Football Team who are through to the Sciath na Scol finals. Come on the Green!
Greenmount was treated to an hour long jazz band performance on the Friday of Cork Jazz Weekend. Fresh off the plane from Holland, Lamarotte had us dancing and singing along. Some of our talented and brave school band members even joined in.
We finally finished our Friendship Project for Friendship week. We painted Lifesize Portraits of ourselves at playtime. We are on display on our corridor.

A Jazz band called on Friday.
We dressed up for our Hallowe’en party. We played snap apple, bob apple, ate Bairín Breac and Trick or Treat.
Number Bingo for Maths week.
We baked bread like The Little Red hen.
