First month in the Junior Language Class
The boys in the junior language class had loads of fun in their first month of school. They loved building, playing play doh, reading, making patterns and drawing!
Football Rounders
2nd Class are ABSOLUTELY loving Football Rounders at the moment.
Matilda
In Second Class, we are reading Matilda. We have been using ‘Role on the Wall’ to record what we find out about her character. We look forward to adding to it as the story goes on.
Today’s Story
‘After the Fall’ (How Humpty Dumpty Got Back Up Again) was a huge hit with 2nd Class today. An inspiring tale about over-coming fears. I won’t spoil the ending but it was a real special moment for the class. The look on their little faces was priceless!
Our ‘Mouldy Bread’ experiment
2nd Class did a mouldy bread experiment to test where germs are and how effective washing our hands with soap and water is versus using hand sanitiser.
The results are in………..
The bread that was wiped on surfaces turned out the worst…Ewww
The bread touched by washed hands appeared better than the one touched with sanitised hands..
After deep discussions we decided that while it is good to sanitise your hands, nothing beats a proper hand-wash using soap and water!!
