One Book One Community

The One Book One Community Project was launched by the lord Mayor at the Lough today. Children from all the local primary schools gathered together to begin a fortnight of work on Michael Morpurgo’s “Mr. Nobody’s Eyes.”  World Champion, Bernard Dunne popped along to encourage all our young people to keep up their love of reading.

We had a fantastic time at our school concert.  We dressed up as elves and sang ‘Away in a Manger’ and ‘Countdown to Christmas’.  A huge thank you to everyone who came to watch us !
