Our theme this month has been the season of Spring. We have been reading lots of spring stories and learning spring poems. Yesterday we went out to the garden to look for signs of spring. We saw that the daffodils we planted are blooming. We found buds and cherry blossoms growing on trees. We even found nests. We can’t wait to see if baby birds hatch in the nests.
Today our class took part in a flag making workshop. We are so lucky! We really enjoyed it. Our flags will be flying high up over the Shandon Bells in June! There will be a thousand flags flying high altogether. Check back next week to see Part 2 of our workshop….
We had a great day today! We had a pancake party and got to put lots of yummy fillings into our pancakes!
We had a very exciting day today! We made a skype call to Turkey! The boys and girls in Turkey are learning about play all over the world. They wanted to ask us some questions. We told them all about the games we love to play in Ireland and they told us about some of their favourite games. It was very exciting. Did you know that the boys in girls in Turkey love the Gangham Style dance. We all danced together and could see each other on the camera. Here are some of the photographs.
