Choir Perform at City Hall

Our choir performed at City Hall today at an Edmund Rice gathering.  Our school was chosen to represent the Presentation Primary Schools within the Edmund Rice Family.

Jazzing it up!

Greenmount was treated to an hour long jazz band performance on the Friday of Cork Jazz Weekend.  Fresh off the plane from Holland, Lamarotte had us dancing and singing along.  Some of our talented and brave school band members even joined in.

The Greenmount Minions

The Greenmount Minions performed their version of “Happy” by Pharrell Williams at our recent 6th Class Graduation Ceremony.  A happy song to wish 6th Class the best of luck in secondary school.

6th Class boys and girls accepted their many chess awards at their Graduation Ceremony.

Chess Success for the Green!

This year our boys’ team came 3rd in the Cork Schools Chess Championships and our girls’ team came 4th.  Congratulations to all the team members.  This was an outstanding performance at city and county level.Girls Chess Team 2013-14 Boys Chess Team 2013-14

Pupils perform with Barrack Street Band

Youth BandGreenmount pupils perform with the Barrack Street Senior and Youth Band at a concert held in Greenmount School Hall.  The future of the Barrack Street Band looks bright.
